Neuroanesthesia is a subspecialty area of anesthesia dealing with the complex relationships of anesthetic medicines, neurochirurgical procedures, and the critical care issues surrounding these patients' management. Neuroanesthesia is essential for anesthetically controlled neurochirurgical patients, based on the understanding of the central nervous system ( CNS) physiology and pathophysiology and the effect of anesthetic agents on the CNS. Procedures for the taking of neuroanesthesia. Brain surgery anesthesia is provided by: tumors, malformations of the blood vessels, aneurysms, occluded arteries, trauma, complex spinal procedures.The neuroanesthesiologist assists the neurosurgeon in achieving optimal operating conditions while ensuring that the patient maintains unconsciousness, good brain blood flow and oxygen levels, and receives adequate pain management during and after the procedure.
