 Nail biting (NB) is a commonplace, but unresolved, problem in psychiatry, psychology, medicine and dentistry. While it appears that evidently NB is a simple behavior that may be stopped effortlessly, many of the children with NB have already tried to forestall it, but they've no longer been a hit. The frustrations due to failed attempt contain others along with dad and mom and siblings. The present assessment pursuits at presenting a top level view of occurrence, co-morbidities, training and counseling, and control for NB. Overall, the reviewed literatures propose that co-morbidities of psychiatric problems and other stereotypic behaviors in clinical pattern of children with NB is extra than eighty%, and more than half of of the mother and father suffer from psychiatric problems in particular depression.
