Machine Learning
The term
machine learning means to enable machines to find out without programming them explicitly. There are four general
machine learning methods: supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised, and reinforcement learning methods. The current research in
machine learning focuses on com-puter vision, hearing, natural languages processing, image processing and pattern recognition, cognitive computing, knowledge representation, and so on. These research trends aim to supply machines with the skills of gathering data through senses almost like the human senses then processing the gathered data by using the
computational intelligence tools and
machine learning methods to conduct predictions and making decisions at an equivalent level as humans. The objectives of
machine learning are to enable Machine learning, one of the top emerging sciences, has an extremely broad range of applications. However, many books on the topic provide only a theoretical approach, making it difficult for a newcomer to understand the topic material. This book provides a more practical approach by explaining the concepts of
machine learning algorithms and describing the areas of application for every algorithm, using simple practical examples to demonstrate each algorithm and showing how different issues associated with these algorithms are applied.
