International- Accounting- High- Impact -Factor- Journals

The Committee for International Accounting Standards (IASC) was set up in June 1973 by accountancy bodies representing ten countries. This has developed and published International Accounting Standards (IAS), definitions and a conceptual structure. Many regional accounting standards setters have looked at these while creating national standards. International Accounting Reporting Standards, generally referred to as IFRS, are the accounting standards defined by the IFRS Foundation and the IASB. These are a systematic way to explain the financial performance of the company in order to make financial statements comprehensible and comparable across international boundaries. It is utilized to quantify the significance or rank of a Journal by figuring the occasions it's articles are refered to. An academic journal's impact factor (IF) or journal impact factor (JIF) is a scientometric index reflecting the annual average number of citations received from articles published in a given journal in the last two years. It is often used as a proxy for a journal's relative importance within its field; journals with higher impact factors are often considered to be more important than those with lower ones.
