Esophageal
cancer is a
cancer that occurs inside the oesophagus - a thick, swollen tube that starts from your throat to your stomach. Your oesophagus helps to transport food that swallows from the back of your throat to your stomach for digestion.
Cancer cancer usually begins inside the
cells that enter the esophagus. Esophageal
cancer can occur wherever you come in contact with the esophagus. More men than women get esophageal cancer. Esophageal
cancer is the sixth most common
cancer death worldwide. Incidence rates vary within different geographical areas. In some areas, high rates of esophageal
cancer may have been caused by smoking and alcohol consumption or by certain healthy eating habits and obesity.
Cancer cancers occur when
cancer cells grow in the esophagus, a tube-like structure that runs from your throat to your stomach. Food from the mouth to the stomach through the esophagus. The Adenocrarcinona starts in the anterior part of the
esophagus and may spread to the upper parts of the
esophagus and other parts of the body (metastasis). , such as your colon, breasts, esophagus, lungs, pancreas, or prostate. It’s natural to feel worried when you find out you have cancer, but remember that treatments can slow or stop the disease.
