Affinity Chromatography Journals

Affinity chromatography is a technique used to isolate a biochemical mixture based on an extremely specific interaction between antigen and antibody, enzyme and substrate, receptor and ligand, or protein and nucleic acid. This is a type of chromatographic laboratory technique used by manipulating molecular properties to purify biological molecules inside a mixture, e.g. protein can be elucidated by ligand solution. Immunochemists had actually developed the earliest forms of affinity chromatography. Usage of affinity chromatography has been combined with high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) systems to combine the affinity chromatography specificity with HPLC pace and responsiveness. It has been expanded to include high-pressure chromatography of immunoaffinity. One field under-exploited is the use of specific antibodies to separate biological materials, such as growth factors that are generated at low concentrations in cell culture. Affinity Chromatography Journal is a forum for scientists from all over the world to share ideas and encourage the advancement of research. This follows an Open Access publishing model that enables the distribution of academic papers to the global community free of charge.
