Synthesis, design of triazinopyrimidines containing benzothiazole and benzoxazole derivatives as anticancer agents
Author(s): Eman K.A.Abdelall, Abdou O.AbdelhamidNew series of cytotoxic agents triazolino[4,3-a]pyrimidines containing benzoxazole or benzothiazole moieties 4 and 5 were prepared from the reaction of each of 1-(2-(benzo[d]oxazol-2-yl)hydrazono)-1- chloropropan-2-one and 1-(2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)hydrazono)-1- chloropropan-2-one with certain pyrimidine thiones,. Some of the newly synthesized compounds were screened against certain cancer tumors.
