Synthesis and biological evaluation of new oxadiazole derivatives
Author(s): P.Shanmugasundaram, R.Kamal Raj, M.Vijey AanandhiSix newOxadiazole derivatives have been synthesized and the structures of the compound have been conformed by 1H NMR, IR spectra, Mass and elemental analysis. Investigation of anti-inflammatory activity of synthesized compound was done by Carrageenan induced paw oedema method and anti-microbial activity was done by disc diffusion method. The synthesized compounds showed significant anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial activity.
