Six isolated yeasts of a mixture of corn straw added by 5% of urea then by 10% of molasses were studied in fermentation thirty days on the same substratum at initial pH of 5.50. Three strains presented an urease production but only one, had a marked ureolytic activity. The yeast strain in question is LVyc1 being identified.
