Pressure field and energy distribution in froth flotation cell

The energy distribution of phases in the flotation cell strongly influences the recovery of minerals by flotation process. Therefore, investigating these hydrodynamic characteristics is required to analyze the performance of the flotation process. In this work, the behaviors of pressure and kinetic energy distribution in a flotation cell have been analyzed by computational fluid dynamic simulation.
