Optimization of submerged arc welding process variables
Author(s): Kunal Dwivedi, Jyoti MenghaniSubmerged arc welding is widely used for welding thicker plates due to its various advantages and hence its bead strength should be high.This review paper presents various works done in optimizing welding process parameters which directly affect weld bead strength. This paper also reviews the effect of process variables,multi-wire & flux on bead–width quality, minimization of residual stresses.
