Abstract
One pot synthesis of substituted imidazoles containing indole and their antimicrobial activities

B.Somappa, Parveen RajesabSubstituted indole aldehydes were condensed with 1, 2-diketones under reflux in acetic acid in presence of ammonium acetate to yield the title compounds. The structures of the synthesized compounds have been established by their analytical and spectral data. The compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity.
