Abstract

New 1,3,4- oxadiazoles as an antitubercular agents

A novel series of 1,3,4-oxadiazoles have been synthesized fromsubstituted aromatic acid with the aim to get better anti-inflammatory and analgesic agents withminimumor without side effects (ulcerogenicity). Structures of the synthesized compounds were supported by means of IR, 1H NMR and mass spectroscopy. Title compounds were evaluated for their antibacterial activities. All compounds were found to have significant antibacterial activities.
