Nanotechnology deals with the development, handling and use of nanometer-ranging materials. Silver nanoparticles, among all the nanoparticles produced, have a special position in the field of nanotechnology due to their antimicrobial and biomedical applications. Silver nanoparticles have a global advantage due to their unique physical and chemical properties, especially their antimicrobial properties, as well as the fact that they are non-toxic and environmentally sustainable.
