Luteolin-7 OD Glucopyranoside from the Kernals of Samadera Indica-Gaertn

Its leaves when bruised is applied for curing insect bites. Its kernels are used for treating rheumatism. In the present study, we describe the isolation and structural elucidation of the flavone-o-glycoside, luteoline-7-o-β-D-glucopyranoside isolated from the kerlels of Samadera indica (Gaertn).
