Isolation and characterization of triterpene lactones from Phlogacanthus thyrsiflorus nees (Acanthaceae)

From the leaves of the Phlogacanthus thyrsiflorus, two new triterpene lactones (1) and (2) were isolated and structures of these compounds were determined on the basis of their spectroscopic and analytical data.
