The inhibition of the corrosion of aluminium in HCl solution by 2-Benzoyl pyridine has been studied using weight loss and gasometric techniques. The inhibition efficiency was found to increase with increasing inhibitor concentration and decreasing temperature.Afirst order reaction kineticsme has been deduced from the kinetic treatment of the weight loss results.
