Abstract
Influence Of Calcination Temperatures On The Structure Of Nanocrystalline Mesoporous Titania
Author(s): Yue Shen, Junchao Tao, Feng Gu, Yun Zhang, Jinzhuan Zhu, and Jiancheng ZhangWell-organized mesoporous titania with nanocrystalline anatase framework was successfully synthesized by using tetrabutyl titanate as the inorganic precursor and triblock copolymer (Pluronic P123) as the template via sol-gel method. The resulting materials were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), small-angle XRD, wide-angle XRD, high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Calcination temperatures plays a pivotal role in both the framework and the mesostructure of mesoporous titania. We also proposed that well-ordered mesoporous titania will be gained by reasonably dominating processes of removal of the template and crystallization. ï›™ 2006 Trade Science Inc. - INDIA
