High k of Ba(Sm1/2Ta1/2)O3 Perovskite with the addition of cation
Author(s): L.Abdul KhalamDouble perovskite type Ba(Sm1/2Ta1/2)O3 ceramic was prepared in the conventional ceramic route.Dielectric propertieswere determinedwith the addition of dopants such as Nb2O5, CuO, ZnO,MgO and TiO2.Addition ofMgO and ZnO increased the quality factor of the ceramic to a great extent, while the ôf could be tuned to nearly zero value with the addition ofCuO and TiO2. Addition of TiO2 increased the dielectric constant of Ba(Sm1/2Ta1/2)O3 ceramic to a high k group.
