Abstract
Future uses of metal-organic frameworks and recent developments in process engineering
Author(s): Waria WatsonNew industrial prospects have emerged as research on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) has progressed from basic chemistry to engineering processes and applications. Outside of the traditional MOF field, industries continue to show interest in MOFs because of their distinctive characteristics, such as their permanent porosity, high surface area, and structural flexibility, which can be used to solve problems and launch new ventures. Diverse research has been done in this area with the intention of commercialising MOFs, but these studies have been carried out with a range of different objectives in mind
