Flavanone and Flavone Glycoside from Taxus Baccata
Author(s): J. S. Jangwan, Arvind Mohan Painuly and Seema NautiyalA substituted flavanone and a flavone glycoside were isolated from the ethanolic extract of Taxus baccata (stem bark). They were designated as 7,4’-dihydroxy 3’,5’-dimethoxy flavanone (1) and flavone 3’,4’-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-7-O- α-L-rhamnopyranoside (2). Their structure were established by using NMR and FA-BMS techniques.
