Abstract
Densities and partial molar volumes of fructose and sucrose in water and 0.05M (NaCl, NaBr, KCl, and KBr) aqueous solutions at 303.15K
Author(s): Pandharinath S.Nikam, Kailas H.Kapadnis, Sanjeevan J.Kharat*Measurements of densities of fructose and sucrose in water and 0.05M (NaCl, NaBr, KCl, and KBr) aqueous solutions have been undertaken as a function of molarity, at atmospheric pressure, and at T = 303.15K. Densities have been correlated with molarity of the solutions. Furthermore, partialmolar volumes have been calculated fromexperimental density values. Results are interpreted in terms of solute-solute and solute-solvent interactions.
