The 3-(4-Bromophenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxaldehyde was prepared fromphenylhydrazine and 4-bromoacetophenone viaVilsmeier-Haack reaction. This aldehyde was functionalized at 4-position by various substituted anilines gave corresponding azomethine derivatives (2a-g). The newly synthesized compounds structures were established by chemical and spectral analysis (IR, NMR). Pharmacological evaluation of this series showed anti-inflammatory and antitubercular activity.
