Aconvenient synthesis of secondary amines fromimines by usingNaBH4

The Schiff bases were synthesized by the condensation of 2- Chloro -6-methyl quinoline-3-carboxyaldehyde with substituted iodoanilines. The structures of compounds have been confirmed by elemental analysis and spectral data. The antibacterial activity of the synthesized compound has also been screened.
